Are your shoes not only dirty, but also broken or do they need a new sole? Then bring them to a Bever location. We repair them professionally and ensure that they are nice and waterproof again for the next walk.

Removing dirt and mud

Before cleaning the shoes, remove the laces from the shoe so that you have easy access to everything. Then remove mud and dirt with a shoe brush and by rinsing the shoes thoroughly with water. With synthetic shoes it is important that sand is properly removed from the material of the shoe. Remaining sand can become abrasive, causing your shoes to wear out faster.

The best way to get synthetic shoes really clean is with Nikwax Cleaning Gel. Squeeze the bottle firmly and allow the gel to flow over the shoe. Shake the bottle well before use. With the brush on the bottle you can polish the shoe nice and clean in no time. Then rinse the shoe under the tap with lukewarm water until all foam and gel residues are gone.

Then let the shoes air dry. Do not place them near a radiator or another heat source: this will cause the material to dry out.

Shake the bottle with Nikwax Fabric & Leather Proof Spray On good for use. Spray the shoes while holding the bottle at a distance of +/- 5 cm from the shoe. Let the impregnation soak in for about two minutes and then wipe the shoes with a clean and dry cloth. Finally, let the shoes air dry, so do not put them on or too close to a heater. Once dry, you can put the laces back in the shoe.

Result

Your shoes are clean again, protected against dirt and water and ready for the next adventure.
